Copyright and Usage

All content on this website is copyrighted. Photos may not be used for any purpose and may not be altered. We own the respectful rights for all the imagery contained on our site. For marketing and PR enquiries regarding specific products in our shop, contact us at support@stockbyjulie.co.uk.

Payment

We are currently accepting payment in the form of debit/credit card and PayPal. To use a debit or credit card, simply enter your card information when prompted, and your account will be securely charged. Products can also be purchased in salon via a separate payment medium.

Returns

We offer a free 14-day returns policy on all of our products. If you are not completely satisfied with your order please contact support@stockbyjulie.co.uk with the email header “Returns”. Reimbursement will take place after the product has been received and inspected. We cannot offer refunds on returned products that are not in their original resalable condition; this includes tarnished or incorrect packaging, defacing, container damage, or products with broken seals. We endeavour to process all of our returns within 5- working days.

Promotions

Free Next Day Delivery (Free Local Delivery) in Berkshire – This offer is subject to a promotional period lasting till 11th May 2019. Orders after this are subject to the usual shipping charges.

Cancellations

We will do our best to fulfil every order, however, in some rare cases, delays and cancellations may occur for reasons beyond our control. We reserve the right to cancel any orders for any reason, refunding our customers in full.

Stock by Julie is a trading name of Style by Julie. Our registered address is Badgers Rise, Woodley, Reading, RG5 3AJ.

The information set out in this policy is intended to guide you through the data we collect from you, the way we process that information, how long it is obtained for, and the measures we make to protect your personal data.

In accordance to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective as of 25 May 2018, we respect your right to privacy, and are committed to protect and safeguarding personal data supplied to us. As part of our commitment, we have written our privacy policy to inform you of our high standards, and guide you through the data we collect; the way we process data; how long it is obtained for; and the measures we take to protect your personal data.

Personal Data is information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual[i].

A Collector determines the purposes and means of processing personal data[ii]

A processor is responsible for processing personal data on behalf of the controller[iii].

Information we collect

The information we collect include your name and contact details, including address, telephone number, and email address, as well as your payment information. This information is collected at our payment gateway, or when you email us your information in regard to an order; create an online account; subscribe to our newsletter; and/or participate in a reader’s competition or survey.

The information we collect is what we deem as necessary for order processing and shipping. The information that is provided by you will only be used for the purpose which it is provided, unless you are informed otherwise at the time of giving the information.

Processing

We may use your information to provide good and services tailored for your interests if you have requested, and to communicate with you about those goods and services; to operate our site; to comply with the ICO (Information Comissioners Office); and as otherwise permitted by applicable laws.

We may also contact you about your details to manage your account, provide customer service, even if you have opted-out of, or declined consent to receiving promotional emails. We may also contact you if we revise this privacy policy and feel that it is important to notify you about them.

Third Parties

Keeping your data private and secure is our utmost priority. When you request goods from us, you are consenting to the disclosure of your personal information to our partners who may provide such good and services under contract, and to our couriers who ship the goods to you. Our fulfilment house and couriers are both GDPR compliant – who we share customer information via password-encrypted spreadsheets.

Our data timeline

We will hold your information on our system for no longer than necessary. After a six-month timeframe, any superfluous information is deleted, or in some cases, anonymised.

Security

Our website and server have appropriate technical measures in place to protect against the breach of data by unauthorised persons, as well as accidental loss, destruction, or damage of your information while under our control. However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk.

Your rights

You are entitled to have access to all of the personal information held by us, and to amend, correct or remove such information. You can also limit, restrict, or object to the processing of your data.

If you have previously given consent to use your data for marketing purposes, but would like to withdraw, please email us at support@stockbyjulie.co.uk. We will endeavour to respond to all enquiries within 5-working days.

Cookies are used across our site to improve user experience. Cookies are pieces of information supplied to your harddrive to store, and sometimes track information about you. Cookies are common, and do not do any harm to your system, they simply store and gather information.

We may collect information about your server including your IP address, operating sustem and browser type as part of our analytics. Most web browsers automatically authorize cookies; however, this can be adjusted in your browsers settings to prevent it from doing so. Please note you will not be able to take full advantage of the website’s intelligence if you do so.
