Should I comb hair conditioner?

Lets face it, not everyone uses a comb in the shower, but why is it so important to comb hair conditioner/mask, and is it really worth your time?

Combing, it’s obvious right?

Hair combing is a process that will ensure even distribution of a product so it reaches every strand of hair, including the tips. A common issue is that the ends of the hair are missed and are neglected of vital nourishment (after all, they need it the most). Combs, such as our popular Be-Bop brushes, deliver an even coverage and will greatly benefit your hairs look-and-feel if used regularly.

The routine

  1. Shampoo your hair, rinse, then gently squeeze out excess water to prevent your conditioner from becoming diluted.
  2. Apply a generous amount of conditioner or mask to the hair and comb through from scalp to tip.
  3. Allow the product to work from 3-5 minutes before rinsing. Alternatively, for deep nourishment and repair, leave the product on for up to three hours.
  4. Rinse

Hanging a wide toothed comb in your shower means you have easy access every time. We recommend a wide tooth comb to prevent any further damage while gliding through the delicate ends, the weakest strands on your head.

The Be-Bop brushes are best suited to short hair and give the scalp a gentle massage and stimulation. The brush is also excellent to evenly apply other products such as gel and wax.
