Designed for colour rejuvenation in the comfort of your own home, Igora Expert Mousse is Schwarzkopf Professional’s solution to semi-permanent colouring in the form of a mousse for easy application, excellent results and confidence with little room for user error. The range comes in 16 intermixable colours and can be applied in strands or all-over.
Introduction
Suitable for all hair types, the versatile product achieve a variety of different results depending on how it is used and the type of hair it is being applied to. For uncoloured hair, a correctly chosen colour will intensify natural colour brilliance, condition, and enhance the pre-existing natural tone. For pre-coloured hair, it will gently freshen-up the base colour. In this instance, you can either opt for the same shade to reinstate your hairs shine when it was first coloured. Alternatively, a different colour can be used; while achieving the same results, it will introduce a new shade into the hair, likened to highlights. If the latter meets your desire, we would always recommend speaking to your stylist beforehand to ensure that you get the results you are anticipating.
Application
- Wash the hair thoroughly. For pre-coloured hair, we recommend the Bonacure Colour Freeze Rich Shampoo to support the process. For natural hair, we recommend using a deep cleansing shampoo such as 3D Men’s which contains caffeine to cleanse the scalp and works well on either men or women’s hair.
- Towel dry the hair and use the nozzle to release an appropriate portion into the palm. Apply the amount you would normally use with a traditional mousse.
- Rub Igora Expert Mousse into the hair, particularly paying attention to spots which need the colour refreshing the most.
- Leave it on the hair for 3-5 minutes for colour refreshing and conditioning or 15-20 minutes for intense colour results and deep conditioning.
- Rinse the hair with warm water until it runs clear.
- Condition the hair with a conditioner.
Results
If used on lighter bases, the results will be more intense. If used on darker bases, the results will be more subtle.
